A stun gun is an electrical self-defense device that uses high voltage to stop an attacker. Simply touching a person with the prongs on the stun gun will quickly immobilize them. Stun Guns or tazser guns are totally non-lethal self defense weapons that cause no serious or permanent injury.
Stun Guns or taser guns are designed to key on a persons central nervous system. It dumps it’s energy into the muscles at a high pulse frequency that makes the muscles work very rapidly, but not efficiently. This rapid work cycle depletes blood sugar by converting it to lactic acid all in just seconds. The resulting energy loss makes it difficult to move and function. At the same time, the tiny neurological impulses that travel throughout the body to direct muscle movement are interrupted. This causes disorientation and loss of balance and leaves the attacker in a passive and confused condition for several minutes. Still, there is no significant effect on the heart and other organs.

Why should you choose a stun baton?
Stun Batons are most effective when you need to have some distance between yourself and the person you are attempting to stun. The high voltage and extended reach of the stun baton combine to provide an effective weapon and a deterrent against attack. By maintaining your distance, you have a tactical advantage in that they will have a hard time getting close to you.
