This will undoubtedly go down as one of the most famous examples of how batons can be used to gain control of a situation by police or for civilians how they can defend themselves. Batons have been around since the early 1800's as a self-defense weapon or as a police tool. They were called "Billy" clubs back in the day and made out of wood. Nowadays they are made out of stainless steel and have varying lengths like our Expanding Steel Baton which is an awesome self -defense tool. Check out all of our Police Supplies.
