Sexual Assaults On Campus-What To Do To Defend Yourself
Post by Bryan Buckner
Here's a newspaper article about a police officer named Cynthia Flores who is speaking to college freshmen about resources available to them to keep them safe on campus. She pointed out that "Sexual assaults are a particular problem for college women. Flores said that one in four women will be sexually assaulted during their college years and that in about 90 percent of the incidents, alcohol was a contributing factor. Also, most the time, the victim knows her attacker."
You can read the rest of the story HERE. She also mentioned that fewer than 35% of all sexual assaults get reported.
One of the best defenses women can use is to carry some self defense products. In an assault situation there aren't very many things that work any better than Lipstick Pepper Sprays.
A disguised pepper spray can give you the element of surprise in an assault situation and maybe save your life.
